As usual, it’s been a while since I’ve written. It’s November, so my little guy just turned 2! I can’t believe it. Andrew has turned into such an awesome little boy. It’s been so fun to see how his imagination develops. He already plays with different characters and gives them all personalities. He is so cute to watch. We start the day off every morning with hugs and kisses. I love this little boy so much. Today I am 18 weeks pregnant with baby #2. In a week we’ll find out the gender. We’re going to have a gender reveal party for our family that week. There are so many different creative ways to reveal the gender. I thought about waiting to find out with them, but I can’t do it. I have a feeling I would end up taking a peak anyway. I love surprises, but I think they have to be unexpected surprises. This is a surprise I cannot wait 2 extra days for. I would really love to have a little girl, but I think it’s a boy. Of course this is totally fine with us. Andrew has requested a sister though. So we will see what the ultrasound says.

We are in a place where we are trying to improve the things that we have. I could spend my entire day redecorating our house over and over. Etsy and Pinterest make it so easy to want want want things. It all takes time, money and some creativity. We renovated our kitchen this summer and closed in our carport. I LOVE our new kitchen and am so happy we have the extra space now from the carport. We need to clear out a bedroom for baby #2. I’m trying to find some fun ideas for Andrew’s new room. My dad is building a Duplo/Train table for him. I think he’s going to enjoy it. Andrew can spend hours playing by himself with his toys. It really is a gift! I have enjoyed the improvements we have made so far. Next on the list is closing in a doorway, replacing all the bedroom and bathroom doors and completing the kitchen with a new back splash. I wish we had the skills to do all that ourselves, but we’re not the handy man type of people. There are certain things we can do, but we’ve found out installing doors is not one of them. Our house is small, but we’re making due with what we have. I think it’s all going to work out just fine.

As you see, we’ve been pretty busy over here! All is well with us and I hope it is with you.
